Hi, I’m Skye. I am a foodie, recent graduate from James Madison University and aspiring Registered Dietitian (RD). During the summer of 2011, I spontaneously began vomiting. It started as a weekly occurrence and eventually progressed to after every meal. After an entire year of frustration and mystery, I found a holistic doctor who offered hope to finally getting my vomiting under control. He diagnosed me with Hypochlorhydria (lack of stomach acid) and a realm of food sensitivities. Eliminating gluten, dairy, soy, alcohol, eggs, and garlic from my diet was tough, but I knew it was necessary in order to get healthy again. After being on the diet for a year I was able to slowly introduce some foods back into my diet in moderation and I’m happy to say I am feeling so much better! Being on such a restricted diet forced me to get creative with my meals and really think outside the box, literally. My hope for this blog is to share healthy tips and exceptional recipes with you from my favorite blogs as well as some of my own. Enjoy!
